Half Training

I am hopelessly behind in my training for the half on March 20.  And by hopelessly behind I mean I am luckily if I am running once a week at this point.  I’m not entirely sure why I am having such trouble motivating.  My schedule is such that currently, I need to be running in the morning.  But I am SOOOO not a morning person. My running buddy who usually gets me motivated has been in Egypt for the past month (although was just evacuated yesterday…whoo hoo!) so I just haven’t had that much motivation.  She signed up for a 10-miler in a few weeks that I need to be signed up for, not only because I need to gauge where I am at but also because per my training schedule, I have a 10 mile run scheduled for that weekend.

I need to find some motivation soon if I expect to run this half in any type of respectable fashion.

I am running a 4 mile race on Sunday so maybe that will be the kickstart I am looking for?
